dc.description.abstract | The recent interest manifested in the utilization of agricultural residues has promoted research on the potential use of residues as raw materials for the pulp and paper industry. In the current study, the suitability of licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) fibers for pulp and paper production was examined. Pulps were prepared by soda and soda-AQ methods. The physical and optical properties of pulps were tested, the results obtained showing that licorice fibers could be an alternative raw material for pulp and paper industry. | en_US |
