Abstract
Günümüz kentlerinde çocukların en çok vakit geçirdiği yerin okul binası ve okul bahçesi olduğu düşünüldüğünde anaokulu bahçeleri ve bahçede oynanan oyunlar çocukların fiziksel, ruhsal ve zihinsel gelişimlerinin sağlıklı ilerleyişi açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, literatürdeki birçok çalışmanın sentezlenmesi ile anaokullarında dış mekan kullanımı için optimum şartların neler olduğunun belirlenmesi ve bu şartların İstanbul Anadolu yakasındaki 10 farklı anaokullunda ne derece sağlandığının tespit edilmesidir. Amaca ulaşmak için okul bahçelerinin kullanım olanakları açısından toplamda 30 kriterden oluşan bir gözlem formu oluşturulmuştur. Seçilen okul bahçelerinin bu kriterlere uyup uymadığına bakılmış ve buna ilişkin puanlandırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Puanlandırma neticesinde okul bahçelerinin tümünün orta ve iyi dereceli temsil gurubunda yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, optimum dış mekan kullanım olanaklarının gelişmesi için anaokullarına önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
In today's cities, considering that the school building and garden where children spend most time, kindergarten gardens and games played in the gardens have great importance for the healthy progress of children's physical, mental and mental development. The aim of this study is to determine the optimum conditions for outdoor usage in kindergartens by synthesizing many studies in the literature and to determine the extent to which these conditions are provided in some kindergartens on the İstanbul Anatolian side. In order to reach the aim, an observation form consisting of 30 criteria was formed which evaluates the use of school gardens. the selected 10 different school gardens have examined whether it meets the necessary criteria and scoring is done. As a result of the scoring, it was found that all of the school gardens were in the middle-level and fine-level representation group. As a result, suggestions were made to kindergartens for the development of optimum outdoor usage opportunities.
