Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, durdurulan faaliyetler dönem karı veya zararı (dur- durulan faaliyetler dönem k/z), dönem net karı veya zararı (dönem net k/z) ve ödenen temettü arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla Borsa İstanbul (BIST) 100 endeksinde işlem gören ve 2018-2020 yılları arasında durdurulan faaliyetler dönem k/z raporlayan işletmelerin verilerinden yararlanılmıştır. Durdurulan faaliyetler dönem k/z, dönem net k/z ve ödenen temettü arasındaki ilişki çoklu korelasyon analizi ile tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen verileri ana - liz etmek için SPSS 22 programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda 2018 yılında dönem net k/z ile ödenen temettü arasında pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki bulunurken 2019 yılında dönem net k/z ile ödenen temettü arasında negatif ve anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuş; fakat 2020 yılında değişkenler arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamamıştır.
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between discon- tinued operating profit or loss, net profit or loss for the period and dividend paid. For this purpose, the data of businesses that are traded in the BIST 100 index and that report period profit or loss from discontinued operations betwe- en 2018-2020 (period profit or loss from discontinued operations) were used. The relationship between discontinued operations’ profit or loss for the peri - od, net profit or loss for the period (period net profit/loss) and dividend paid was determined by multi-correlation analysis. As a result of the research, there was a positive and significant relationship between net profit for the period and dividend paid in 2018, while a negative and significant relationship was found between net profit for the period and dividend paid in 2019; However, no significant relationship was found between the variables in 2020.
