Mushrooms grow in the wild but are also cultured and consumed all over the world as food. These are frequently used in nutrition because they are rich in essential amino acids, carbohydrates, fibers, vitamins, and minerals. In this study, four cities of Igdir province namely; Central, Tuzluca, Aralik, and Karakoyunlu have been investigated to record the edible fungi. In all 22 taxa, they have been recorded as edible in the province in general. Information has been upgraded with published data from different sources. © 2024 by Apple Academic Press, Inc.en_US
