Özet
Ülkemizde uzun yıllar tartışma konusu olan cami meselesi, camilerde ilkesiz yaklaşım, modern cami, 20.yy. dacami mimarisi gibi konular bu çalışmada besleyici veriler olarak ele alınmıştır. Özellikle son yıllarda sıkçakarşılaştığımız ve çoğumuzun deneyimleme fırsatı bulduğu cami altında dükkan oluşumunun bir örnek üzerindenincelenmesi bu çalışmanın ana konusu olmuştur. Seçilen örneklem Düzce’nin Akçakoca ilçesinde yer alanAkçakoca Merkez Camisidir. 1989 yılında temeli atılan ve 2004 yılında yapımı tamamlanan bu cami tarihi veturistik açıdan bir değere sahip olan Akçakoca İlçesinin odak noktalarından biridir. Klasik Osmanlı camilerindekullanılan merkezi kubbenin aksine bu camide köşegenlerden oluşan çokgen bir üst örtü kullanılmış olup yapıldığıdöneme göre oldukça farklı bir mimariye sahiptir. 1989 yılında temeli atılan caminin bulunduğu yer daha öncedükkanların bulunduğu bir çarşı niteliğindedir. Caminin yapımına karar verildiğinde mevcut çarşı kaldırılarakzemin katında çarşı bulunan modern bir cami inşa edilmiştir. Cami tasarımı, zemin katını dükkânlar oluşturacakşekilde tasarlanmış olup özgün mimarisiyle kentin ilgi çeken yapılarından biri olmuştur. Bu çalışmada özgün birmimariye sahip olan Akçakoca Merkez Caminin zemin katında tasarlanan dükkanların cami mimarisiyle ve yakınçevresiyle olan ilişkileri belirlenmiş ve sonuç bölümünde yeni yapılan camilerde tercih edilmeye başlanan camialtında dükkan konusuna da öneriler getirilmeye çalışılmıştır.

The selected sample is the Akçakoca Central Mosque in Akçakoca, Düzce. This mosque, whose foundation was laid in 1989 and completed in 2004, is one of the focal points of Akçakoca, which has a historical and touristic value. Contrary to the central dome used in the classical Ottoman mosques, this mosque has a polygonal top cover made of diagonal diameters and has a quite different architecture compared to the time it was built. The mosque, whose foundation was laid in 1989, is a bazaar with shops. When it was decided to build the mosque, the existing bazaar was removed and a modern mosque was built on the ground floor with a bazaar. The mosque design has been designed to form the ground floor shops and has become one of the interesting structures of the city with its original architecture. In this study, the architecture of the shops designed on the ground floor of the Akçakoca Central Mosque, which has a unique architecture, has been determined with the mosque architecture and its close surroundings.
