dc.description.abstractNowadays, occupational safety has become an important discipline which ensures that employees work at healthier and safer places by providing safer working conditions. Therefore, occupational safety is important in terms of not only employees' safety but also the safety of the whole enterprise and its production. In the study, analysis was made on worker's health and occupational safety of employees of forest industry enterprise operating in Duzce, an important city with regards to the forest products industry in Turkey. For this purpose, a study was carried out in Duzce, where every sub-sector of forest products industry operates, and a questionnaire was administered to employees of forest industry enterprise. In the study, factors affecting employees' health in forest industry enterprises, occupational safety and the situation of the enterprises were analyzed. The results of the study determined that 55.3% of employees did not receive occupational safety education and are not pleased with the level of natural and artificial lighting. Furthermore, employees pointed out that back and belly ache, head and neck ache, foot and ankle ache and general pain complains cause them discomfort.en_US
