dc.description.abstractThe rotor of the flux switching synchronous machine is simple, these machines have the advantages such as high power density and working at high speeds. When excitation coil is added to the machine, in addition to these properties, air-gap flux density can be easily controlled. Magnetic circuit of the machine can be serial, parallel or indepently. Independent circuit design are often complex, therefore it is not taken into consideration in this study. Serial and parallel circuit axial field models are designed at the same dimensions. Flux switching axial field syncronous machine models are compared in terms of magnetic and structure characteristics, power density and efficiency.en_US
