Özet
The new type of coronavirus (COVID-19), which spread all over the world in a short time in Wuhan city of China, started to be seen in our country in early March. In this article, we wanted to convey what we experienced during the Covid-19 pandemic as assistants of the Department of Family Medicine at Duzce University Research and Application Hospital. In the middle of March, health personnel personal protective measures trainings were organized by the Department of Hospital and Infectious Diseases. A pandemic tent was created in front of the Hospital Emergency entrance door. As of April 1, 2020, seizure lists were created in the Pandemic tent throughout the process, consistently of three doctors, two nurses, a secretary and a staff. During the pandemic, we read the guides published by the ministry of health and updated constantly, and renewed our knowledge about Covid-19. While many countries have had problems in terms of personal protective equipment, this problem has not been experienced in our hospital for a long time. As healthcare professionals and family physicians working as preventive medicine, we follow how the society is affected socially. Our anxieties continue even though the uncertainties about the disease, what happens next, how long we will live in this way, are still not clear.
