Özet
In 2001, Habermas suggested a vote of thanks at the German Publishers Association's Peace Prize ceremony under the title Faith and Science, as one of the strongest supporters and proponents of contemporary man's and his intellect in his philosophy and works. The concept of post-secular society that he put forward in this speech continues to be the subject of many discussions and research. In this perspective, the primary goal of this research will be to demonstrate how Habermas' concept of religion has undergonechange, based on his works. The second purpose is to investigate whether Habermas' post-secular society notion represents the facts of today's social structure from a critical standpoint by evaluating relevat critical literature. In this way questions such as; what does a thinker like Habermas, who is firmly committed to Enlightenment thought but, in his own words, lacks a strong religious sensitivity, mean by the concept of post-secular society, what could be the reasons for his statement that religious teachings should be discussed in today's society, which he considers post-secular, what kind of environment is required for religious teachings to be discussed in a post-secular society, and how will this environment be provided? which conditions should be met to provide this environment and how the complementary learning process can be performed, will be discussed. In conclusion it will be tried to present a different perspective to the related literature by including a subject that is ignored in the related critical literature but to be important.
