dc.description.abstractKullanılabilir doğal kaynakların gün geçtikçe azalmasını önlemek ve gelecek nesillere yaşanabilir bir dünya bırakabilmek adına; çevreci uygulamalar ile işletmeler, çevreye verdikleri zararı en aza indirme çabası göstermektedirler. Tüketicilerin çevre konusunda hızla bilinçlenmeleri, işletmeleri çevre ile ilgili bilinçli uygulamalar gerçekleştirme durumunDüzce Üniversitesi Akçakoca Turizm İşletmeciliği ve Otelcilik Yüksekokuluda bırakmıştır. Hızlı yaşam şartları ve yoğun çalışma temposu insanları daha sakin, doğayla baş başa ya da doğaya zarar vermeden hizmet veren konaklama işletmelerine yönlendirmektedir. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı'nca verilen "yeşil yıldız" uygulaması da bu durumu teşvik etmek amaçlıdır. Ayrıca işletmelerde çevreye duyarlı uygulamalarla sadece toplumsal fayda değil aynı zamanda işletme ekonomisi içinde büyük kazançlar sağlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı, çevreye duyarlı uygulamalarla hizmet veren otel işletmelerinin elde ettikleri ekonomik katkıları belirlemektir. Araştırmanın yöntemi nitel araştırma yöntemine dayanmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri doküman incelemesiyle elde edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda otel işletmesinin, hem tasarruf sağlama hem de kaynaklarını daha verimli kullanma açısından önemli avantajlar sağladığı tespit edilmiştir.en_US

İn this context the purpose of this study is to determine the economic contributions of hotel businesses serving environmentally conscious practices. The method of the study is qualitative research method. The data of the study is obtained from document review. As a result of the study, it is determent that hotel business gain significant advantages in terms of both providing saving and using their sources efficiently.en_US
