Özet
Bu araştırma öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre okul yönetiminde yönetim süreçlerinin etkililiği ile okul etkililiği arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma nicel araştırma olup ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini İstanbul'un Esenyurt ilçesinde 2021/2022 eğitim öğretim yılında görev yapan 406 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada kişisel bilgi formu araştıramcı tarafından oluşturulmuştur. Gül (2017) tarafından "Yönetim süreçlerinin Etkililiği" ölçeği ile Günal (2014) tarafından geliştirilen "Okul etkililiği" ölçekleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri seti incelenmiş, normal dağılım göstermediği için parametrik olamayan testlerden Mann Whitney U Testi ile Kruskal Wallis testleri yapılmıştır. Ayrıca korelasyon ve basit doğrusal regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Ulaşılan sonuçlara göre öğretmenlerin yönetim süreçlerine yönelik algıları yüksek düzeyde çıkmıştır. Yönetim süreçlerinin etkililiği genel ortalamarı ile öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, okul kademeleri, mesleki kıdem, yaş değişkenleri ile aralarında anlamlı bir fark görülmez iken eğitim durumları değişkeni ile anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu görülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin okul etkililiğine yönelik algıları yüksek düzeyde çıkmıştır. Okul etkililiği genel ortalamaları ile öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, okul kademeleri, mesleki kıdem, yaş değişkenleri ile aralarında anlamlı bir fark görülmez iken eğitim durumları değişkeni ile anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu görülmüştür. Son olarak yönetim süreçlerinin etkililiği ile okul etkililiği arasında pozitif yönlü, anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Yönetim süreçlerinin etkililiği, okul etkililiğin anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda araştırmacılara ve uygulayıcılara önerilere yer verilmiştir.
This research was carried out in order to reveal the relationship between the effectiveness of management processes in school management and school effectiveness, according to the opinions of teachers. The research is a quantitative research and a relational survey model was used. The sample of the research consists of 406 teachers working in the Esenyurt district of Istanbul in the 2021/2022 academic year. In the study, the personal information form was created by the researcher. "Effectiveness of management processes" scale by Gül (2017) and "School effectiveness" scales developed by Günal (2014) were used. The data set of the research was examined, and Mann Whitney U Test and Kruskal Wallis tests, which are non-parametric tests since it did not show normal distribution, were performed. In addition, correlation and simple linear regression analysis were performed. According to the results, teachers' perceptions of management processes were found to be high. While there was no significant difference between the general average of the effectiveness of management processes and the variables of teachers' gender, school levels, professional seniority, age, it was seen that there was a significant difference with the variable of educational status. Teachers' perceptions of school effectiveness were found to be high. While there was no significant difference between the general averages of school effectiveness and teachers' gender, school levels, professional seniority, age variables, there was a significant difference with the educational status variable. Finally, it has been observed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the effectiveness of management processes and school effectiveness. It has been concluded that the effectiveness of management processes is a significant predictor of school effectiveness. In this direction, suggestions are given to researchers and practitioners.
