Sağlık Turizminde Kent Rekabetçiliği Öncüllerinin Elmas Modeli Kullanılarak İrdelenmesi

| dc.description.abstract | Son yıllarda Türkiye’de sağlık turizmi pazarı hızlı bir şekilde büyüyerek olgunluk seviyesine ulaşmıştır. Bu durum işletmeler arasında rekabetin yaşanmasına sebep olmaktadır. Dolayısıyla Türkiye’de sağlık turizmi yetki belgesi almış sağlık kurumlarının kent rekabetçiliği seviyelerinin incelenmesi önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, sağlık turizminde kent rekabetçiliğinin öncüllerini belirlemeye yönelik bir inceleme yapmaktır. İkincil verilerin kullanıldığı bu çalışmada Türkiye’de iller arasında sağlık turizmi açısından kent rekabetçiliğinin öncülleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Yapılan araştırmada 55 ilde toplam 627 hastanenin sağlık turizmi yetki belgesi aldığı (22.08.2023 tarihi itibariyle) anlaşılmıştır. Ayrıca sağlık turizmi yetki belgesi almış tıp merkezi, muayenehaneler ve diğer sağlık tesisleri de bulunmaktadır. Porter’ın elmas modeli temel alınarak yapılan çalışmada, sağlık turizminde kent rekabetçiliğinde avantaj elde etmek için faktör koşullarında ulaşım altyapısı, doktor sayısı, kaplıca ve içmelerin sayısı ile doğal güzellikler; talep koşullarında turist sayısı ve alternatif turizm çeşitliliği; ilgili ve destekleyici kuruluşlar incelendiğinde hastane, muayenehane, özel tıp merkezi, yetkilendirilmiş aracı kuruluş ve diğer sağlık tesisler; firma yapısı stratejisi ve rekabet konusunda yetkilendirilmiş aracı kuruluş sayısı, hastane yatak kapasite oranı ile jenerik rekabet stratejileri uygulamaları; devlet destekleri incelendiğinde ise bölgesel teşvik uygulama düzeyinin önemli olduğu söylenebilir. Elmas modeli dikkate alındığında sonuç olarak Marmara, İç Anadolu, Ege ve Akdeniz bölgelerinin daha fazla avantaja sahip olduğu anlaşılmıştır. | |
| dc.description.abstract | In recent years, the health tourism market in Turkey has grown rapidly and reached maturity level. This situation causes competition between businesses. Therefore, it is important to examine the city competitiveness levels of health institutions that have received health tourism authorization certificates in Turkey. The main purpose of this study is to conduct an examination to determine the antecedents of city competitiveness in health tourism. In this study using secondary data, the antecedents of city competitiveness in terms of health tourism among the provinces in Turkey were tried to be determined. As a result of the research, it was understood that a total of 627 hospitals in 55 provinces received health tourism authorization certificates (as of 22.08.2023). There is also a medical center, clinics and other health facilities that have received a health tourism authorization certificate. In the study based on Porter's diamond model, in order to gain an advantage in city competitiveness in health tourism, the factor conditions are transportation infrastructure, number of doctors, number of spas and springs and natural beauties; number of tourists and alternative tourism diversity under demand conditions; When the relevant and supporting organizations are examined, hospitals, clinics, private medical centers, authorized intermediary institutions and other health facilities; company structure strategy and the number of intermediary institutions authorized for competition, hospital bed capacity ratio and generic competition strategies applications; When state supports are examined, it can be said that the level of regional incentive implementation is important. | |
