Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Eleştirmen Doğan Hızlan'ın Solistlerden Oluşan Bir Koro olarak isimlendirdiği 1950 Kuşağı yazarlarından Erdal Öz' ün eserlerindeki iktidar kavramına ve yabancılaşma olgusuna dair tespitleri ortaya koymaktır. Erdal Öz; edebiyatın roman, öykü, anı, mektup, çocuk kitapları gibi pek çok türünde eserler vermiştir. 1950'lerin sonunda ilk eserlerini veren Erdal Öz, 1950 Kuşağı'nı derinden etkileyen varoluşçuluğun etkisiyle başlarda soyut ve bireysel bir sanat anlayışını benimsese de özellikle 12 Mart 1971 Muhtırası'ndan doğan cunta iktidarıyla karşılaşması onun sanat anlayışının toplumcu duyarlılığa kaymasında etkili olmuştur. Bu durumun oluşmasında yazarın aydın kimliği yüzünden hapis hayatına mahkûm edilişi de etkili olmuştur. Her ne kadar geniş bir çevrede tanınıp benimsense de Erdal Öz, kendisini daima bir yalnız adam olarak görmüş ve yine kendisini herhangi bir yurda ait hissetmediğini ifade etmiştir. Öz'ün içinde bulunduğu bu uzun soluklu durum; eserlerine de yansımış, varlığını yabancılaşma olgusuyla hissettirmiştir. Gerek yazar kimliği gerekse yayıncı kimliğiyle bir dönemin siyasi hayatının yansımalarını eserleriyle ortaya koyan Erdal Öz, bir taraftan eserleriyle Türkiye'nin siyasi tarihine tanıklık ederken bir taraftan da evrensel insani değerleri eserlerinde işleyerek yazar duyarlılığını ortaya koymuştur. Çalışma bu bağlamda ele alınıp Erdal Öz'ün bütün eserleri merkeze alınarak bu yapıtlardaki iktidar ve yabancılaşma kavramları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.
The purpose of this study is to reveal the determinations of the concept of power and the phenomenon of alienation in the works of Erdal Öz, one of the authors of the 1950s, named by the Critic Doğan Hızlan as a Choir of Soloists. Erdal Oz; He has produced works in many genres of literature such as novels, stories, memoirs, letters and children's books. Although Erdal Öz, who gave his first works at the end of the 1950s, adopted an abstract and individual understanding of art at the beginning with the influence of existentialism, which deeply affected the 1950 Generation, especially his encounter with the junta power that emerged from the 12 March 1971 Military Memorandum was effective in the shift of his understanding of art to social sensitivity. The fact that the writer was sentenced to prison life because of his intellectual identity was also effective in the formation of this situation. Although he was widely recognized and adopted, Erdal Öz always saw himself as a lonely man and stated that he did not feel that he belonged to any country. This longterm situation of the essence; reflected in his works, he made his presence felt with the phenomenon of alienation.Erdal Öz, who reveals the reflections of the political life of a period with his writer identity and publisher identity, while witnessing the political history of Turkey with his works on the one hand, on the other hand, he demonstrated his writer sensitivity by embroidering universal human values in his works. The study was handled in this context and all the Works of Erdal Öz were centered, and the concepts of power and alienation in these Works were tried to be determined.
