dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı; kadınların kariyer geleceği algısı üzerinde cinsiyetrolü ve denetim odağının etkilerinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanınevreni Düzce Üniversitesi’nde akademik ve idari personel pozisyonundagörev alan kadınlardan oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada nicel araştırmayöntemi kullanılmış ve veriler yüz yüze anket tekniği ile elde edilmiştir.Değerlendirmeye alınan ve veri analizinde kullanılan toplam anket sayısı236’dır. Araştırmada kullanılan başlıca analizler; betimleyici istatistikler,faktör analizleri ve regresyon analizleri şeklindedir.Araştırma sonuçlarına göre cinsiyet rolü boyutlarının olumlu kariyergeleceği algısı üzerinde pozitif etkisi bulunurken, olumsuz kariyer geleceğialgısı üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi bulunmamaktadır. Denetimodağı boyutlarından iç denetim odağının olumlu kariyer geleceği algısıüzerinde etkisi dış denetim odağına kıyasla daha fazla iken, olumsuzkariyer geleceği üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi bulunmamaktadır. Bunun yanı sıra dış denetim odağının olumsuz kariyer geleceği algısı üzerindepozitif bir etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca akademik personelinolumlu kariyer geleceği algısının idari personele kıyasla daha yüksekdüzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to determine the effects of gender role,locus of control and organizational constraints on the perception of women’scareer future. The population of the research consists of womenemployed as academics and administrators at the Düzce University. Thequantitative research method has been used and data obtained throughthe face-to-face survey technique. The number of questionnaires takeninto consideration and used in the data analysis totalled 236. The mainstatistical analyses used in the study are descriptive statistics, factoranalysis and regression analysis.According to the results of the study, there is no significant effect ofgender role dimensions on the perception of the negative career future,while gender role dimensions have a positive effect on positive careerfuture perceptions. While the effect of the internal locus of control onpositive career future perception is higher than the external locus ofcontrol, there appears no significant effect on the negative career futureperception. In addition, it has been found that the external locus of controlhas a positive effect on negative career perception. Furthermore, ithas been found that the positive career future perception of academicstaff is higher than that of administrative staff.en_US
