dc.description.abstractEthic is a branch of philosophy that investigates values, norms and rules in terms of right and wrong or good and bad. Nursing ethics has gained importance with developments, occurring on nursing functions since the 20th century. Nursing is a profession that has some ethical principles due to being the intertwined with people. Ethical Principles are basic and clear moral truths which guide intentions and actions. These principles provide guidance for nurses to serve an efficient and adequate care for the community by helping them recognize the moral aspects of their profession, enhance moral sensitiveness and realize their responsibilities for their clinical practice. Ethical principles should be considered in nursing practice; these are autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, honesty, confidentiality, justice and loyalty.
dc.description.abstractEtik; değerleri, normları, kuralları doğru-yanlış ya da iyi-kötü gibi ahlaksal açıdan araştıran bir felsefe dalıdır. Hemşirelik etiği, hemşireliğin işlevlerinde meydana gelen gelişmelerle 20. yüzyıldan itibaren önem kazanmıştır. Profesyonel bir meslek olan hemşirelik, insan ile iç içe olması nedeniyle bazı etik ilkelere sahiptir. Etik ilkeler, niyet ve eyleme yön veren temel ve net ahlaki doğrulardır. Bu ilkeler, hemşirelerin, mesleğinin ahlaki yönünün farkında olmasında, ahlaki duyarlılık geliştirebilmesinde ve klinik uygulamalarda sorumluluklarını daha iyi kavrayarak topluma yeterli ve kaliteli bakım sunmalarında rehberlik sağlar. Hemşirelik uygulamalarında dikkate alınması gereken etik ilkeler; özerklik, yararlılık, zarar vermeme, dürüstlük, gizlilik, adalet ve sadakattir.
