dc.description.abstractYaşadığımız dönemin gereksinimleri doğrultusunda ortaya çıkan STEM Eğitimi Yaklaşımı, 21. yüzyıl dünyasında öğretmen ve öğrenciler için büyük öneme sahiptir. Bunun en önemli nedenlerinde birisi, öğrencileri bilim, teknoloji, matematik ve mühendislik disiplinlerinde birleştirici ve üst düzey becerilere ulaşmasını sağlayan bir yaklaşım olmasından kaynaklanmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, STEM eğitimi yaklaşımını ele alan makalelerle ilgili sistematik bir derleme yaparak genel bir görünüm ortaya koymaktır. Bu çalışmada, tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan Corona Virüs Salgınının başladığı 2020 yılına ait Eric, Web Of Science ve DergiPark veri tabanlarında yayımlanıp STEM eğitimi yaklaşımını konu alan toplam 273 makale incelenmiştir. Makalelerin veri tabanlarına göre dağılımları; Eric (%64), DergiPark (%27), Web Of Science (%9) olarak tespit edilmiştir. Ulaşılan bu bulgular sistematik derleme yönteminin sahip olduğu format doğrultusunda belirli bir düzen şeklinde sunulmuştur. Sistematik derlemede makaleler; yazı dili, örneklem grupları, kullanılan yöntemler, veri toplama araçları ve veri analiz yöntemleri bakımından incelenmiştir. Araştırma yöntemleri açısından dağılımlarına bakıldığında en fazla nitel araştırma yöntemi (%42) kullanılırken, örneklem olarak da en çok Öğrenciler (f:160) grubuyla çalışmalar yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Nitel araştırma yönteminde, veri toplama aracı olarak en çok yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formları ve doküman incelemelerin kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan analizlerin sonucu, STEM eğitimi yaklaşımını konu alan çalışmaların yaygınlaşması ve STEM alanları öğretmenleri ile yapılacak çalışmalarda da artış olması gerektiğini göstermektedir. Ayrıca bu sistematik derlemenin ulaşılan veriler ve öneriler kapsamında araştırmacılara bundan sonra yapılacak çalışmalarda rehber olması beklenmektedir.
dc.description.abstractThe STEM Education Approach, which emerged in line with the needs of the era we live in, has a great importance for teachers and students in the 21st century world. One of the most important reasons for this is that it is an approach that enables students to reach unifying and high-level skills in science, technology, mathematics and engineering disciplines. The aim of this research is to present a general view by making a systematic review of the article studies on STEM education. After being subjected to certain criteria, a total of 273 articles about the STEM education approach were examined, their distribution according to databases; Eric (64%), DergiPark (27%), Web Of Science (9%). These findings are presented in a certain order in line with the format of the systematic compilation method. The aspects we look at in the studies; Written language, sample groups, methods used, data collection tools and data analysis methods are given in the tables. Looking at their distribution in terms of research methods, the most qualitative research method (42%) was used, and the most students (f:160) were determined as the study group. It has been determined that semi-structured interview forms and document reviews are mostly used as data collection tools in the qualitative research method. In addition, this systematic review is expected to guide researchers in future studies within the scope of the data and recommendations reached.
