Özet
Bu çalışmada eğitim ve fen fakültesi öğrencilerinin korozyon konusundaki bilgi düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma 2014-2015 öğretim yılının bahar döneminde Gazi Üniversitesi, Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi, Orta Öğretim Fen ve Matematik Alanları Eğitimi Bölümü, Kimya Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalında okuyan öğrenciler, Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi, Ahmet Keleşoğlu Eğitim Fakültesi, Orta Öğretim Fen ve Matematik Alanları Eğitimi Bölümü, Kimya Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalında okuyan öğrenciler, Ankara Üniversitesi Fen Fakültesi Kimya Bölümü öğrencileri, Konya Selçuk Üniversitesi Fen Fakültesi Kimya Bölümü öğrencileri ve Gazi Üniversitesi Fen Fakültesi Kimya Bölümü öğrencileri olmak üzere toplam 345 öğrenci ile gerçekleşmiştir. Öğrencilere Korozyon Başarı Testi uygulanmış ve uygulanan testten elde edilen verilerin analizinden eğitim ve fen fakültesi öğrencilerinin korozyon konusundaki bilgi düzeylerinin düşük olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuncunda elde edilen verilerden tek faktörlü ANOVA testi kullanılmış ve sınıf düzeyleri arasında korozyon konusunda bilgi düzeyleri arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur.
The aim of this study was to find out the effect of the classroom levels of students in the faculties of education and science on their knowledge levels of corrosion. The study was applied to 345 students attending the chemistry teaching departments and the chemistry departments of four different universities in the spring semester of 2014 – 2015 academic years. The corrosion achievement test was applied to the students and the data achieved from this test was analysed using one way ANOVA test. According to the analysis, it was found out that the knowledge levels of corrosion of students in the faculties of education and science was low. Also, it was determined that in the chemistry teaching departments the knowledge levels of the fifth year university students about corrosion were statistically and significantly higher than those of the first and fourth year university students, that in the chemistry departments there was a statistical difference between the knowledge levels of the first year university students and the third year university students about corrosion and this difference was in favour of the first year university students, and that there was a statistical difference between the knowledge levels of the fourth year university students and the third year university students and this difference was in favour of the fourth year university students.
