Özet
The system approach, described as the science of the whole, has been transferred from the physical sciences to the field of social sciences, and the concepts it proposes and the perspective it offers have been used in many fields from sociology to political science. Modern approaches within organizational theories offer a very broad perspective that explains organizations and the environment in which they exist, and at the point of sustainability and understandability of organizations. It has provided an enriching perspective to the organizational literature with concepts such as environment, parameter, variable and entropy. Organizations were seen as open social systems, and it was emphasized that the solution to the problems faced by organizations required a system perspective. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
