dc.description.abstractOwing to the COVID-19 Pandemic, online distance education has become an important part of educational life. As in many countries worldwide, Turkey has started to implement online distance education to reduce the impact and spread of the pandemic. The effect of online distance education on students has become an important issue in education. This study aimed to determine the experiences of students studying in the Düzce University Faculty of Forestry departments for distance education in the 2023-2024 academic year. Within the scope of this study, it is important to identify students’ experiences and provide appropriate suggestions. For this purpose, data were obtained from 67 students in different grades. The questionnaire form developed by the researchers was used as a data collection tool, and the questionnaires were administered to the students through face-to-face interviews. Considering the students’ experiences with distance education, it was concluded that distance education platforms are viable under the current conditions.
dc.description.abstractCOVID-19 Pandemisi nedeniyle çevrimiçi uzaktan eğitim, eğitim hayatının önemli bir parçası haline gelmiştir. Dünyanın birçok ülkesinde olduğu gibi Türkiye de salgının etkisini ve yayılmasını azaltmak için çevrimiçi uzaktan eğitim uygulamasını hayata geçirmeye başlamıştır. Çevrimiçi uzaktan eğitim uygulamasının öğrenciler üzerindeki etkileri eğitimde tartışılan önemli bir konu haline gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada, 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim döneminde, Düzce Üniversitesi Orman Fakültesi bölümlerinde eğitim gören öğrencilerin uzaktan eğitime yönelik deneyimlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında öğrencilere yönelik elde edilen bu deneyimlerin tespit edilmesi ve bunlara uygun önerilerin sunulması önem arz etmektedir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda farklı sınıf düzeylerinden 67 öğrenciden veri elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada veri elde etme aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen anket formundan yararlanılmış ve anketler öğrencilere yüz yüze görüşme yöntemiyle uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerin uzaktan eğitime yönelik deneyimleri göz önünde bulundurulduğunda mevcut koşullar altında uzaktan eğitim platformlarının uygulanabilir bir platform olduğu sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır.
