Abstract
Doğum Memnuniyet Ölçeği-Revize (DMÖ-R) Formu Eş/Partner Versiyonu'nun Türk kültürüne uyarlanarak geçerlilik ve güvenirliğinin test edilmesi amacıyla yapılan bu çalışma, Ağustos 2022- Ocak 2024 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Eşlerinin doğumuna katılan ve doğumdan sonraki ilk 10 günlük süreç içerisinde bulunan eşlere/partnerlere sosyal medya üzerinden ulaşılmış olup online veri toplama formu aracılığı ile veri toplama süreci gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini Türkiye'de eşlerinin doğumuna katılan eşler/partnerler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklem sayısının alt sınırı, ölçek madde sayısının 5 ila 10 katı kadar sayıda kişiye erişilmesi gerekliliğine dayanılarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 108 eş/partner oluşturmuştur. Dil geçerliliği, kapsam geçerliliği, açıklayıcı faktör analizi, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ve Cronbach's alfa katsayısı kullanılarak geçerlilik ve güvenirlik analizi test edilmiştir. Çeviri-geri çeviri yöntemi kullanılarak DMÖ-R Formu Eş/Partner Versiyonu'nun dil geçerliliği sağlanmıştır. Türkçe dil ve yazımına uygunluğu açısından da değerlendirilen ölçek, orijinal ölçeğin yazarının onayına sunulmuştur. Sonrasında uzmanların görüşleri alınarak önerilerine istinaden gerekli düzenlemeler yapılmış kapsam geçerliliği sağlanmıştır. Ölçeğe son şekli verildikten sonra ön uygulama yapılıp sonrasında örneklem grubunu oluşturmuş olan eşlere/partnerlere uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin faktör analizi açıklayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri ile değerlendirilmiştir. Ölçeğe ait faktör yükleri dağılımı incelendiğinde iki alt boyutlu yapıda olduğu ve faktör yükleri dağılımının 0,461-0,909 arasında değiştiği saptanmıştır. Ölçeğe ait Cronbach's alfa katsayısının 0,744 olduğu, "doğumda yaşanan stres" alt boyutunun 0,875 ve "bakım hizmetlerinin kalitesi" alt boyutunun 0,755 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Türkçe'ye uyarlaması yapılan Doğum Memnuniyet Ölçeği-Revize (DMÖ-R) Formu Eş/Partner Versiyonu'nun Türk kültürüne uygun, geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğu belirlenmiştir. This study, which was conducted to test the validity and reliability of the Birth Satisfaction Scale-Revised (DMÖ-R) Form Spouse/Partner Version by adapting it to Turkish culture, was carried out between August 2022 and January 2024. Spouses/partners who attended their spouse's birth and were in the first 10 days after birth were reached via social media and the data collection process was carried out through the online data collection form. The population of the research consists of spouses/partners who attend the birth of their spouses in Turkey. The lower limit of the sample size of the research was determined based on the need to reach a number of people 5 to 10 times the number of scale items. The sample of the research consisted of 108 spouses/partners. Validity and reliability analysis were tested using language validity, content validity, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Language validity of the DMÖ-R Form Spouse/Partner Version was ensured by using the translation-back-translation method. The scale, which was also evaluated in terms of its suitability for Turkish language and writing, was submitted to the approval of the author of the original scale. Afterwards, the opinions of the experts were taken and necessary adjustments were made based on their suggestions and content validity was ensured. After the scale was finalized, a preliminary application was made and then it was applied to the spouses/partners who formed the sample group. The factor analysis of the scale was evaluated with explanatory and confirmatory factor analyses. When the distribution of factor loadings of the scale was examined, it was determined that it had a two-subdimensional structure and the distribution of factor loadings varied between 0.461 and 0.909. It was determined that the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the scale was 0.744, the "stress experienced during birth" sub-dimension was 0.875, and the "quality of care services" sub-dimension was 0.755. It has been determined that the Birth Satisfaction Scale-Revised (DMÖ-R) Form Spouse/Partner Version, adapted to Turkish, is a valid and reliable measurement tool suitable for Turkish culture.
