dc.description.abstractAn article of the Islamic faith isbelief in the hereafter, hell, and heaven. The verses and hadith reveal thatthe Day of Judgment will come under God’s command. Once resurrected, the deadwill be brought to crowd, their deeds reckoned. The believers then will end inparadise and the disbelievers in hell – paradise being the site of reward andhell the place of punishment. As these stations are not temporary butpermanent, the disbelievers will remain in hell forever. Furthermore, theverses indicate that any apology from disbelievers will be in vain and theirtorment will not go away. There is no escape or exit from hell and thus, thoughimpossible, they will continue wishing to decease or vanish. The hell-boundbelievers on account of committing cardinal sins are exceptions, however,because they will be punished and then will depart from hell to paradise.
dc.description.abstractAhirethayatının, cennet ve cehennemin varlığını kabul etmek, iman esaslarından biridir.Ayet ve hadislerde verilen bilgilere göre Allah’ın emri ile bir gün kıyametkopacak, ölen insanlar dirilecek, mahşer yerinde toplanacak ve hesaba çekilecekler,neticede müminler cennete kâfirler cehenneme gideceklerdir. Elan mevcut olancehennem kâfirler, cennet ise muttaki müminler için hazırlanmıştır. Cehennemcezalandırma, cennet ise ödüllendirme yeridir. Cennet de cehennem de dünya gibisonlu değil, sonsuzdur. Kâfirler cehennemde ebedî kalırlar. Ayetlerin beyanınagöre kâfirlerincehennemde mazeretleri kabul edilmez, azapları hafifletilmez, oradan çıkamaz,kaçamaz, ölmek ve yok olmak isterler, ancak bu da mümkün olmaz, Allah onlarıaffetmez ve cehennemde sürekli kalırlar. İmanla ölen ancak büyük günahları sebebiyle cehennemeatılan müminler, cezalarını çektikten sonra cehennemden çıkartılıp cennetegirerler.
