Within the scope of this study titled "Modified Nanocelulose Chemical, Rheological, Morphological and Thermal Analysis"; Kraft pulp fiber bleached with eucalyptus (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) wood chips was obtained, followed by modification of the bleached pulp fiber 2.2.6.6 tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl (TEMPO), N-hydroxyphthalimide (PINO), and periodate (IO4-). The resulting product was passed through a homogenizer and reduced to nano size, resulting in modified nanocelulose. The modified nanocelluloses were analyzed by High Performance Liquid Chromotography (HPLC) and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) devices for chemical analysis and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) device for morphological analysis. Within the scope of the study, it was observed that the molecular and amorphous structure was changed after the modifications and periodate was found to be more effective on glucose compared to PINO and TEMPO. Within the scope of morphological analyzes; TEMPO was found to be more effective in terms of dimensional change of the fiber structure compared to periodate and PINO. Recently, number of the studies conducted at the nano level has been increasing. This nanocellulose modification was successfully accomplished with nanocellulose production in the nanoscale dimensions. As a result of this study, when the modified nanocelluloses were examined in terms of their chemical and morphological properties, it has been determined that the chemicals used during the treatment had different effects on the nanocelulose. In the light of finding, it has been evaluated that this study will contribute to the literature.
