Özet
Serbest zamanın bilimsel anlamlandırılması uzun yıllar pozitif fayda bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Son zamanlara kadar serbest zamanın karanlık yüzü diye tabir edilen sapkın serbest zaman aktivitelerinden çok fazla söz edilmemiştir. Sapkın serbest zaman örneklerini inceleyen araştırmacılar sadece karanlık bir serbest zaman etkinliğine ışık tutmazlar. Ayrıca normal serbest zaman uygulamalarını şekillendiren kuralların nasıl işlediğinin daha iyi anlaşılmasına katkıda bulunurlar. Bu açıdan çalışma, öncelikle ülkemizde oldukça yanlış kullanılan serbest zaman ve boş zaman kavramlarının sınırlarını netleştirerek tahammül edilebilir ve tahammül edilemez sapkın serbest zaman aktiviteleri üzerine tespitlerle, çeşitli sosyolojik bağlamlarda konuyu çözümleme çabasındadır. ?
Scientific interpretation of leisure time has been discussed in the context of its positive benefits for many years. Until recently, deviant leisure activities, called the dark side of free time, have not been mentioned much. Researchers studying deviant leisure cases do not just shed light on a dark leisure time activity, besides that they contribute to clarify how the rules that shape normal leisure time practices work.In this case, the study firstly clarifies the boundaries of the concepts of leisure and free time concepts which are mostly used wrongly in our country. After that, it focuses on description and exploration of bearable and unbearable deviant leisure activities within various sociological contexts.
