dc.description.abstractIn this article, the main themes dealing with earthquake and caricature books published in Turkish have been nbsp;examined. It has been determined that the main themes of the books are shaped not in the technical aspect of the nbsp;science of earthquake or disaster management, but rather in the axis of the issues that are reflected in everyday nbsp;life and social aspects. The main themes structured by the cartoonists on the axis of the social side is briefly nbsp;explained at the conceptual level. In this study it is possible to characterize the caricature drawings examined as nbsp;documents or archive material belonging to cartoonists. Therefore, the technique of examining the content, nbsp;which is one of the qualitative methods used in the scientific studies carried out on such material, is also used in nbsp;this study. The main themes in the books examined were systematically presented to the readers through the nbsp;narratives and charts created.
dc.description.abstractBu makalede, deprem konusunu ele alan ve Türkçe olarak yayımlanmış karikatür kitaplarında işlenmiş olan nbsp;başlıca temalar incelemeye konu edilmiştir. Yapılan incelemede, kitapların ana temalarının, depremin bilimsel nbsp;veya afet yönetimi anlamındaki teknik yönlerinden ziyade, gündelik yaşama yansıyan ve sosyal yönü ön plana nbsp;çıkan konular ekseninde biçimlendiği belirlenmiştir. Çizerleri tarafından, depremin sosyal yönü ekseninde nbsp;yapılandırılmış bulunan ana temalar, bu makalede kavramsal düzeyde kısaca açıklanmış ve kitaplarda ele alınan nbsp;biçimleriyle yorumlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada incelenen karikatür çizimlerini, çizerlere ait birer doküman veya arşiv nbsp;materyali olarak nitelendirebilmek mümkündür. Dolayısıyla, bu tür materyal üzerinde yürütülen bilimsel nbsp;çalışmalarda yararlanılmakta olan nitel yöntemlerden biri olan içerik incelenmesi tekniği, bu çalışmada da nbsp;kullanılmıştır. İncelenen kitaplardaki ana temalar, yapılan anlatımlar ve oluşturulan tablolar aracılığıyla nbsp;sistematik bir şekilde okuyucunun dikkatine sunulmuştur.
