Özet
Myxomas are the most common primary cardiac tumors in adult. Clinical presentation of cardiac myxomas is very different. The most common symptoms include dyspnea, atypical chest pain, and obstructive and embolic phenomena. A prevalence of coronary artery disease between 0 and 11% was reported in different series of myxoma. Definitive treatment involves surgical excision of the mass as soon as possible. Because, cases of sudden death have been described, probably related to embolization of the myxoma material into the coronary circulation. A myxoma accompanying with coronary artery disease and severe valvular heart disease is extremely rare. We report here a case of myxoma prolapsing into the left ventricle with concomittant severe aortic stenosis. Copyright © 2011 by Türkiye Klinikleri.
