dc.description.abstractWho is the ideal person? is a substantive question in the questioning process of existence in every period of thought history. Although many philosophers have comments on this subject, al-Fārābī, who is a multi-faceted thinker, evaluates this problem with the purpose of existence, moral characteristics and social aspects of human. In this article, based on the texts of al-Fārābī, information will be given on the position of man in the field of existence, his purpose, his potentials, and his competence in relation to God and the world. According to al-Fārābī, competency is defined with the harmonious position of man in the God-world-politics equation. Like God's order in the universe, human beings become competent as a result of both harmonious use of potential features and the forces that serve the order in the social structure. He emphasizes that by gaining the virtues of the exact knowledge and proper practice, people can achieve the competence expected from them.en_US
dc.description.abstract“İdeal insan kimdir?” sorusu düşünce tarihinin her döneminde varoluşa dair sorgulama sürecinde anlamlı bir soru olarak karşımızda durmaktadır. Pek çok düşünürün bu konu hakkında yorumları olmakla birlikte çok yönlü bir düşünür olan Fârâbî böyle bir problemi insanın varoluş gayesi, ahlâkî özellikleri ve toplumsal yönüyle birlikte değerlendirmektedir. Bu makalede Fârâbî metinlerinden hareketle insanın varlık sahasındaki konumu, gayesi, kendisinde yer alan potansiyelleri, Tanrı ve âlemle ilişkisi çerçevesinde insandan beklenen yetkinliğinin neler olduğu üzerinde durulacaktır. Fârâbî metinlerinde yetkinlik insanın Tanrı-âlem-siyaset denklemi içerisinde uyumlu konumuyla değerlendirilmektedir. Tanrı’nın âleme koyduğu düzen gibi insan, kendisine verilmiş kuvvelerin yani potansiyel özelliklerin uyumlu bir şekilde kullanılmasının neticesinde yetkinliğe ulaşır. O, insanın doğru bilgi ve doğru eyleme dair erdemlerinin kazanılması ile kendisinden beklenen yetkinliğe ulaşabileceğini vurgulamaktadır.en_US
