dc.description.abstractIn this study, simulation studies of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) based on model reference adaptive control method were performed using Matlab / Simulink package program. Instead of the PI controller traditionally used in the Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS), system performance is examined using fuzzy logic and hierarchical fuzzy logic controllers (HFC). It is clearly seen in the simulation studies that the hierarchical controller is superior to the fuzzy logic controller by giving better dynamic response and less steady state error.en_US
