Özet
Örgütler birbirinden farklı amaçlara sahiptir ve her örgüt bu amacını gerçekleştirmek için paydaşları ile işbirliği yapma ihtiyacı duymaktadır. Örgütlerin amaçları olduğu gibi ilişki içindeki paydaşlarında kendi amaçları vardır. Ortak amaç etrafında toplanan taraflar bile kendi özünde farklılaşan amaçlara sahip olabilir. Bu amaçların gerçekleştirilmesinde çeşitli yöntemler kullanan taraflar seçtikleri yöntemleri kendi yetenekleri ile uyumlu olarak seçerken aynı zamanda örgütün kültürüne ve yönetimin yönetme tarzına da uygun olarak seçerler. Çalışanlar ise, izlenim yönetimi taktiklerini kullanarak diğerlerini etkilemeye ve kendileri hakkında oluşacak fikirleri şekillendirmeye çalışırlar. İzlenimleri başarılı bir şekilde yönetebilen çalışanlar ise, kariyer hedeflerine daha kolay ulaşarak kariyerlerinden tatmin olmaktadırlar. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, örgütlerdeki yönetim tarzı algısının çalışanların izlenim yönetimi davranışları ve kariyer tatmini ile olan ilişkisini incelemektir. Çalışmada, kişilerin algıladıkları yönetim tarzına göre kullandıkları izlenim yönetimi taktikleri ve kariyer tatminlerinin değişim gösterip göstermediği incelenmiş ve demokratik-katılımcı, tam serbestiyetçi, otoktarik yönetim tarzına göre ne tür izlenim yönetimi geliştirdikleri ve yine yönetim tarzı algılarına göre kariyer tatminlerinin olumlu ya da olumsuz olarak nasıl şekillendiği değerlendirilmiştir. Kişinin kullanacağı izlenim yönetiminin kişinin kariyer tatminine etkisinin olduğu görülerek, bu iki kavramın birbiri ile ilişkili olduğu değerlendirilmiştir. Düzce ili kapsamında gerçekleştirilen araştımanın evrenini Düzce ilindeki imalat sektörü çalışanları oluşturmaktadır. Nicel araştırma yönteminin tercih edildiği araştırmada veriler anket tekniği ile tam sayım yöntemi kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Değişkenler arasındaki ilişkileri ölçmek için yapılan korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri sonucunda yönetim tarzı algısı, izlenim yönetimi ve kariyer tatmini değişkenleri arasında anlamlı ilişkilerin olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu değişkenlerin demografik özelliklere göre farklılıkları T-Testi ve ANOVA analizi kullanılarak test edilmiş ve analiz sonucunda anlamlı farklılıkların olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
Organizations have different goals and each organization needs to cooperate with their stakeholders to achieve this goal. As well as organizations have goals, their stakeholders in the relationship have their own goals. Even parties that gather around a common goal may have goals that differ in their essence. The parties, who use various methods in the realization of these goals, choose the methods they choose in accordance with their own abilities, while at the same time choosing in accordance with the culture of the organization and the management style of the management. Employees, on the other hand, use impression management tactics to try to influence others and shape the ideas that will emerge about themselves. Employees who can successfully manage their impressions are satisfied with their careers by reaching their career goals more easily. The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between management style perception in organizations and employees' impression management behaviors and career satisfaction. In the study, it was examined whether the impression management tactics and career satisfaction that people use according to the management style they perceive changed and what kind of impression management they developed according to the democratic-participatory, fully liberalist, autocratic management style and how career satisfaction was shaped positively or negatively according to their management style perceptions. It has been evaluated. It has been observed that the impression management to be used by the person has an effect on the career satisfaction of the person and it has been evaluated that these two concepts are related to each other. The population of the research conducted within the province of Düzce is composed of the manufacturing sector employees in the province of Düzce. In the study where quantitative research method was preferred, the data were collected by using the full count method with the questionnaire technique. As a result of the correlation and regression analysis performed to measure the relationships between variables, it was found that there were significant relationships between the variables of management style perception, impression management and career satisfaction. The differences of these variables according to demographic characteristics were tested using T-Test and ANOVA analysis, and significant differences were found as a result of the analysis.
