Özet
Çalışmada ilk olarak doğum kavramı temel olarak açıklamış ardından reenkarnasyon ve yeniden doğuş kavramları ile bir bütünlük sağlanarak iki kavram arasında bağ kurulmuştur. Doğum ile ilgili mitolojik anlatılara da yer verilmiş ve buna ek olarak sanat ve çağdaş sanat başlıkları altında çeşitli sanat eserleri incelenmiştir. Çalışma genelinde doğum kavramı temele alınarak bu kavramın çok yönlü anlamları, zaman dilimleri içerisindeki değişimleri çeşitli sanat pratikleri ile açıklanmıştır. Tez çalışmasında doğum kavramının tanımlanması için mitoloji, bilim, sanat gibi konular üzerinden görsel ve kavramsal örnekler sunulacaktır. Sanat alanına da dahil olan doğum kavramı çeşitli sanat pratikleri ile irdelenerek ele alınış biçimindeki farklı noktaları araştırmanın genel çerçevesini oluşturarak tez içinde sunulması hedeflenmiştir.
In the study, the concept of birth is firstly explained and then a connection is established between the two concepts by providing a unity whit the concepts of reincarnation and rebirth. Mythological narratives about birth are also included and in addition, various works of art are analyzed under the titles of art and contemporary art. Throughout the study, the concept of birth is taken as a basis and the multifaceted meanings of this concept and its changes in time periods are explained through various art practices. In this thesis, visual and conceptual examples from mythology, science and art will be presented to define the concept of birth. The concept of birth, which is also included in the field od art, is examined with various art practices and the different points in the way it is handled are aimed to be presented in the thesis by forming the general framework of the research.
