dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'nın ilköğretim okulları için tavsiye ettiği"100 Temel Eser? listesinde belirtilen eserlerde yer alan değerler ile ilköğretim sosyal bilgiler öğretim programında verilen değerlerin uyumu incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri kaynağını, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'nın ilköğretim okulları için tavsiye ettiği ? 100 Temel Eser? okuma kitapları serisi; çalışma grubunu ise 100 temel eser serisindeki kitapların sayfa sayılarına göre gruplandırılması sonucu, bu eserler arasından maksimum çeşitlilik örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen on iki (12) yerli yazarlı ve dokuz (9) yabancı yazarlı olmak üzere toplam yirmi bir (21) kitap oluşturmaktadır.Çalışma grubunu oluşturan yerli ve yabancı yazarlı kitaplarda bulunan değerler incelenmiş ve yapılan analizler sonucunda, incelenen yerli ve yabancı yazarlı kitaplarda yer alan değerler tespit edilmiştir. İncelenen yerli ve yabancı yazarlı kitaplarda en fazla bulunan değerler, sevgi, yardımseverlik, saygı, estetik, dostluk, acıma, cesaret, ümit, merhamet ve başarılı olma değerleri, en az bulunan değerler ise emaneti korumak, feragat, istişare, görgülü olmak, sağlıklı olmaya önem verme, tutumluluk, yeniliklere açıklık, ahlaklı olma, doğa sevgisi, eşitlik, hoşgörü, milli birlik şuuru, ölçülülük, sadelik ve zarafet değerleri olmuştur. İncelenen kitaplarda sosyal bilgiler öğretim programında yer alan değerlerden, sırasıyla sevgi, yardımseverlik, saygı, estetik ve özgürlük değerleri en fazla yer alan değerler olmuştur. İncelenen kitaplarda sosyal bilgiler öğretim programında yer alan değerlerden bilimsellik, sağlıklı olmaya önem verme, hoşgörü, barış ve bağımsızlık değerleri olmuştur. İncelenen yerli ve yabancı yazarlı kitaplarda tespit edilen değerler içinde, Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programında yer alan değerlerden bağımsızlık, estetik, misafirperverlik, sağlıklı olmaya önem verme ve temizlik değerlerini destekleyen değer olmamıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, yerli ve yabancı yazarlı kitaplarda, Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programında yer alan değerleri zedeleyen ifadeler yer almıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, the concordance of the values in"100 Basic Works" ,recommended by the Ministry of Education for elementary schools, and the values specified in the list of elementary 5th grade social studies curriculum was examined. Qualitative research methodology was benefited in the study. The data source for the study is the "100 Basic Works" recommended by the Ministry of Education for elementary schools Primary schools in recommended by the Ministry of Education. The study group is a total of twenty-one (21) books out of "100 Basic Works" including twelve (12) local and (9) foreign writers. Those books, which were grouped according to numbers of pages, were chosen by maximum diversity sampling method. The values in the domestic and foreign authored books that make up the sample were analyzed and the results of analysis examined the values in domestic and foreign authored books.The most common values in the domestic and foreign authored books were found as love, charity, respect, aesthetics, friendship, compassion, courage, hope, compassion and value of being successful. The least common values were observed as protecting the fiduciary, self-sacrifice, consultation, mannerliness, paying attention to be healthy, prudence, openness to innovation, ethicalness, love of nature, equality, tolerance and conscious for national unity, moderation, simplicity and elegance Among the books that were examined, the values which take place in the social studies curriculum most were found as love, charity, respect, aesthetic and freedom. The other values that were observed in the books were paying attention to be healthy, tolerance, peace and independence. Among the values identified in both local and foreign books, the values that support the ones which take place in the social studies curriculum such as independence, aesthetics, hospitality, paying attention to be healthy and cleanness could not be found. Results revealed that there were some expressions in local and foreign authored books that damage the values in Social Studies Teaching Program.en_US
