ÇOCUK KİTAPLARINA YANSITILAN ŞİDDET: 100 TEMEL ESER ÖRNEĞİ

Özet
Bu araştırmada Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı’nın ilköğretim okulları için tavsiye ettiği" 100 Temel Eser” listesinde nbsp;belirtilen eserlerin yansıttıkları şiddet dili incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. nbsp;Araştırmanın veri kaynağını, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’nın ilköğretim okulları için tavsiye ettiği “100 Temel Eser” nbsp;okuma kitapları serisi; çalışma grubunu ise on iki yerli yazarlı ve dokuz yabancı yazarlı olmak üzere toplam nbsp;yirmi bir kitap oluşturmaktadır. Kitaplardan elde edilen veriler içerik analizi tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Şiddet nbsp;dili ifadelerinin türlerine göre çoktan aza doğru sözel şiddet, fiziksel şiddet, cinsel şiddet ve duygusal şiddet nbsp;olarak sıralandığı görülmüştür. Yapılan analizler sonucu genel olarak yabancı yazarlı eserlerde şiddet dili içeren nbsp;ifadelerin daha fazla yer aldığı görülmüştür. Araştırma bulguları doğrultusunda öğrenciler için hazırlanacak nbsp;çocuk yayınları ve ders kitaplarında yer alacak okuma metinlerinin nitelik bakımından çocuğun ahlaki gelişimini nbsp;destekleyecek içeriğe sahip olmasına dikkat edilmesi ve nitelikli çocuk yayıncılığının teşvik edilmesi nbsp;önerilmiştir.
In this research, the language of violence reflected by the works listed on the "100 Basic Works" list nbsp;recommended by the Ministry of National Education for elementary schools is examined. Qualitative research nbsp;method is used in the research. The data base of the research is composed of a series of "100 Basic Works" nbsp;reading books recommended by the Ministry of National Education for elementary schools; the research group nbsp;of the study is composed of a total of twenty-one books consisting of twelve local authors and nine foreign nbsp;writers. The data obtained from the books are analyzed by content analysis technique. It is seen that according to nbsp;the types of the expressions of violence, verbal violence, physical violence, sexual violence and emotional nbsp;violence are already listed. As a result of the analyzes made, itis seen that the expressions containing the nbsp;violence language are found more frequently in the foreign writings. In the direction of research findings, it is nbsp;suggested that attention should be paid to the quality of the reading texts to be included in the children's nbsp;publications and textbooks to be prepared for the pupils, with the content to support the moral development of nbsp;the child and quality child publishing should be encouraged. In this study, because works are selected and nbsp;analysed according to certain criteria, the present study results should be evaluated by excluding the values in nbsp;other books which are not reviewed.
