dc.description.abstractBeginning of a global quarantine period with the Covid-19 outbreak, the activity field of theater is restricted. In this atmosphere of uncertainty, there is a possibility that the actor who is familiar with pre-pandemic conditions, will struggle with is his/her own consciousness. At this point, a pathfinder which will contribute to the actor’s cognitive self-education is needed. In this study, Japanese actor, instructor and director Yoshi Oida who have achieved the opportunity of experiencing Eastern and Western theater approaches in his lifetime and shaped his wording in his books through his experiences, has been discussed as the mentioned pathfinder. Instructor's invisible actor notion which contributed guidingly to the studies in Peter Brook's International Centre for Theatre Research is focused in this study. Physical exercises which Oida developed and cognitive substructure of the mentioned exercises are analyzed in the point of defining the invisible actor. While the mentioned notions being explained, samadhi, yin-yang, qi, tai and yu concepts which are indigeneus to East, have been reviewed. Exercises which the instructor have developed in intention of freeing the mind, is qualified to be solitarily done as needed by the passive actor in the quarantine period.
dc.description.abstractCovid-19 salgınının tetiklediği küresel çaplı karantina sürecinde tiyatronun etkinlik alanı kısıtlanmıştır. Sürecin neden olduğu belirsizlik atmosferi içerisinde, salgın öncesi olağan koşullara alışkın oyuncunun kendi zihniyle mücadele etme ihtimali doğmuştur. Bu noktada oyuncunun zihinsel özeğitimine katkı sağlayacak bir yol göstericiye ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Çalışmada, Doğu ve Batı tiyatro yaklaşımlarını deneyimleme fırsatına ulaşmış ve kitaplarındaki anlatım üslubunu deneyimlerinden yola çıkarak biçimlendirmiş Japon oyuncu, eğitmen ve yönetmen Yoshi Oida söz konusu yol gösterici olarak ele alınmıştır. Peter Brook’un Uluslararası Tiyatro Araştırmaları Merkezi’ndeki çalışmalarına yol gösterir nitelikte katkılar sunan eğitmenin görünmez oyuncu kavramı bu çalışmanın odağına alınmıştır. Oida’nın geliştirmiş olduğu alıştırmalar, görünmez oyuncunun tanımını yapma hedefinde incelenmiştir. Söz konusu kavram açıklanırken Doğu’ya özgü samadhi, yin-yang, ki, tay ve yu kavramları ele alınmıştır. Eğitmenin zihni özgürleştirmeye yönelik geliştirmiş olduğu alıştırmalar, edilgin hâldeki oyuncunun karantina sürecinde ihtiyaç duyacağı biçimde tek başına yapılabilecek niteliktedir.
