| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada, tornalama tekniğinin ağaç malzeme yüzey pürüzlülüğüne etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu maksatla, ağaç tornacılığında yaygın kullanımından dolayı ceviz (Juglans regia L.), Doğu kayını (Fagus orientalis L.), ıhlamur (Tilia grandifolia Ehrh.), ve kavak (Populus tremula L.) odunlarından hazırlanan örnekler, kesme ve kazıma tekniği ile tornalama işlemine tabi tutulmuştur. Daha sonra TS 930 esaslarına göre yüzey pürüzlülük ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, en düzgün yüzey kesme yöntemiyle tornalanmış cevizde, en pürüzlü yüzey ise kazıma yöntemi ile tornalanmış kavakta elde edilmiştir. Tornalı işlerde düzgün yüzey elde etmek için kesme yönteminin kullanılması, malzeme olarak ise cevizin tercih edilmesi önerilebilir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study the effect of wood turning techniques on the surface roughness of wooden material has been researched. For this purpose, walnut (Juglans regia L.) beech (Fagus orientalis L.), linden (Tilia grandifolia Ehrh.), poplar (Populus tremula L.) which are widely used in wood turning sector are used and they are turned by cutting and scraping techniques. Afterwards, the test was conducted according to TS 930 for surface roughness measurements. As a result, the best surface smoothness was obtained by walnut turned with cutting technique, on the other hand the roughest surface was obtained by poplar turned with scraping technique. To obtain a smooth surface for turned work pieces, the use of walnut through turned with cutting technique could be suggested. | en_US |
