| dc.description.abstract | Günümüzde ışık teknolojileri, disiplinlerarası bir yaklaşımla heykel sanatında bir malzeme olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bu durum heykel sanatında etkileyici ve çağdaş yeni anlatım olanakları sağlamaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında heykel sanatında malzeme kullanımının tarihsel gelişimi incelenerek bu süreç içerisinde ışığın nasıl dönüştürücü bir rol aldığı araştırılmıştır. Geleneksel malzemelerden modern malzemelere kadar uzanan bu süreçte gelişen ışık teknolojilerinin heykelin tanımını nasıl genişlettiği ve izleyicileri nasıl dönüştürdüğü irdelenmiştir. Teknolojik gelişim, heykellerde ışığın bilinçli ve dinamik kullanımına olanak tanımıştır. Sanatçılar, eserlerinde ışığı kullanarak duygusal ve estetik derinlikler yaratma becerisiyle heykelin evrimine önemli bir katkıda bulunmuşlardır. Işığı heykellerinin temel bir unsuru haline getiren sanatçılar, bu evrimin bir parçası olarak eserlerindeki ifadeyi zenginleştirmişlerdir. Işık, heykelin formunu değiştirip izleyici ile etkileşime geçen bir güç halini almıştır. Bu evrim, sanatın sınırlarını genişleterek izleyicilere derin düşünce ve duygusal deneyimler sağlamıştır. Bu disiplinlerarası evrim, ışığın doğrudan heykele dönüşmesiyle birlikte, sanatın sınırlarını zorlayarak gelecekte daha heyecan verici ve yenilikçi eserlere kapı aralamaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında, tarihsel olarak heykel sanatında ışığın malzeme olarak kullanılmasıyla birlikte, anlatım olanaklarına odaklanarak sanatçıların eserlerinde nasıl katmanlar oluşturdukları incelenmiştir. Işığın heykel sanatı içerisindeki tarihsel örnekleri, çağdaş uygulamaları ve teorik temellerini inceleyerek, sanatçıların bu unsurları nasıl kullanarak çalışmalarına anlam katmanları eklediklerini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma, fizik ve optik biliminin teknik detaylarına derinlemesine girmeksizin, ışığın heykel sanatında yardımcı bir unsur olarak kullanımından, doğrudan yapıtın kendisine dönüşümüne uzanan süreci belirli dönemsel odaklarla ele alarak sınırlandırılmıştır. Veriler, ağırlıklı olarak literatür taraması yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Konuyla ilgili kaynak kitaplar, akademik dergiler, makaleler, videolar ve daha önce hazırlanmış tezler incelenmiş; ayrıca internet ortamı ve sosyal medyada alanla ilgili oluşturulmuş sayfa ve içeriklerden de yararlanılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Today, light technologies are used as a material in sculpture with an interdisciplinary approach. This situation provides impressive and contemporary new expression opportunities in sculpture. In this thesis, the historical development of material use in sculpture art is examined and how light plays a transformative role in this process is investigated. It is examined how developing light technologies expand the definition of sculpture and transform the audience in this process extending from traditional materials to modern materials. Technological developments have enabled the conscious and dynamic use of light in sculptures. Artists have made a significant contribution to the evolution of sculpture with their ability to create emotional and aesthetic depths by using light in their works. Artists who have made light a fundamental element of their sculptures have enriched the expression in their works as a part of this evolution. Light has become a force that changes the form of sculpture and interacts with the audience. This evolution has expanded the boundaries of art and provided viewers with deep thought and emotional experiences. This interdisciplinary evolution, together with the direct transformation of light into sculpture, pushes the boundaries of art and opens the door to more exciting and innovative works in the future. This thesis study examines how artists create layers in their works by focusing on the possibilities of expression, together with the historical use of light as a material in sculpture. It aims to reveal how artists use these elements to add layers of meaning to their works by examining the historical examples, contemporary applications and theoretical foundations of light in sculpture. Without going into the technical details of physics and optics, the study is limited to addressing the process from the use of light as an auxiliary element in sculpture to its direct transformation into the work itself, with specific periodic focuses. The data was obtained mainly through literature review. Relevant source books, academic journals, articles, videos and previously prepared theses were examined; in addition, pages and contents created on the internet and social media related to the field were also used. | en_US |
