Özet

High-strength materials such as titanium alloys, superalloys, and tool steels are increasingly used in industry. Especially in the space and aviation industry, different materials are being developed for higher strength and heat resistance. Low thermal conductivity, high cutting forces, and high cutting temperatures are all characteristics of materials that make them difficult to machine. A new machining method called hybrid advanced machining has attracted attention in machining difficult-to-machine materials. This book chapter precisely discusses various types of hybrid machining processes that mainly include hybrid machining in conventional and modern domains. The chapter aims to facilitate researchers and scholars to provide knowledge related to hybrid machining processes in order for them to carry out further research and development in this field. © 2024 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
