| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada, doğal ve kültürel peyzaj değerleri açısından oldukça zengin bir alan olan Düzce Uğursuyu ve Aksu Havzalarında yerel halkın çıkarlarını göz önünde bulundurarak onlara alternatif bir gelir kaynağı sağlayacak, alandaki mevcut doğal ve kültürel zenginliğin sürdürülebilirliğini sağlayabilecek bir turizm türü olan ekoturizme yönelik potansiyel belirleme çalışması yapılmıştır. Ekoturizmin iyi planlanmadığı ve yönetim faktörünün göz ardı edildiği durumlarda kitle turizminden daha fazla zarara yol açacağı düşüncesinden hareketle çalışma alanına ilişkin ekoturizm amaçlı peyzaj yönetim modeli planı oluşturulmuş, bu alanda ekoturizmin gelişmesine katkı sağlayabilecek paydaşlar ve paydaşlara düşen görev ve sorumlulukların tanımları yapılmıştır.Havza bazında ekoturizm potansiyelinin belirlenmesi ve peyzaj yönetim modelinin oluşturulmasının hedeflendiği araştırmada, Prof. Philip H. Lewis `in algısal kalitesi yüksek önemli desenlerin tanımlanması, korunması ve geliştirilmesinde diğer disiplinlerle çalışmanın gereğini vurguladığı yaklaşımından yararlanılarak ekoturizm kaynakları belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca alandaki ekoturizm kaynakları belirlenirken veri toplama ve arazi gözlemleri yöntemleri ile elde edilen bütün bilgi ve belgeler, taslak haritalar üzerine yapılan işaretlemelere bağlı olarak tezde kullanılmak üzere asıl haritaların oluşturulmasında kullanılmıştır.Yerel halkın bakış açısı ile ilgili fikir edinmek için ise muhtarlara yönelik bir anket çalışması yapılmış, yöre halkının kültürel yapısı, eğitim düzeyi, ekoturizm faaliyetlerine yapabilecekleri katkılar ve ekoturizmden beklentileri ile ilgili detaylı bilgilere ulaşılmıştır. Sonuç olarak ise ekoturizm potansiyeli olduğu tesbit edilen alanlarda sürdürülebilirliğin sağlanması amacıyla bir yönetim modeli geliştirilmiştir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this research, a study of determination of potential was conducted in terms of ecotourism, which is a tourism type that will provide an alternative income source for the local community in Düzce Uğursuyu and Aksu Watersheds, which is a rich area in terms of natural and cultural landscape values, by considering their interests and that also may ensure the sustainability of existing natural and cultural richness in the area. By considering the idea that ecotourism will cause more damage than the mass tourism in case it is not well-planned and management factor is ignored; a landscape management model intended for ecotourism were established for the study area; and the stakeholders which may contribute to development of ecotourism in the said area as well as duties and responsibilities of such stakeholders were defined.In this research which aims to determine the ecotourism potential and to establish the landscape management model for the basin; ecotourism sources were determined by utilizing Prof. Philip H. Lewis?s approach which emphasizes the requirement to collaborate with other disciplines in defining, protecting and developing important patterns with high perceptive quality. Furthermore, all information and documents obtained by methods of data collection and field observation during determination of the ecotourism sources in the area were used to establish the main maps in order to be used in the thesis based on the markings made on the draft maps.In order to get an idea as to the perspective of local community, a survey was conducted with the mukhtars and detailed information was reached regarding the cultural structure, education level, ecotourism expectations of the local community and the contributions which may be made by them to ecotourism activities. As a result, a management model was developed in order to ensure sustainability for the areas which were determined to have an ecotourism potential. | en_US |
