dc.description.abstractIn this research, The Mugla Sitki Kocman University Physical Education and Sports Department students’ specific learning styles were investigated using Kolb Learning styles. In the present study, surveys were applied to 80 active students in 2014-2015 academic calendar year. Students’ cumulative GPA’s as a function of learning styles were studied. The data were collected using Kolb Learning Style Inventory (LSI), which was translated in to Turkish by Askar and Akkoyunlu in 1993. The statistical analyses were performed through independent chi square test. As a result of this study, it is found that physical education teacher candidates mostly preferred diverging and assimilating learning styles. 
dc.description.abstractBu araştırma, Spor Bilimleri Fakültesinde öğrenim gören, Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Bölümü Öğrencilerinin Kolb Öğrenme stilleri kullanılarak kendilerine özgü öğrenme stillerini ortaya çıkarmak amacıyla yapılmıştır.  Araştırmada katılımcıların öğreneme stillerine göre başarıları incelenmiştir. Yapılan bu çalışmaya 2014-2015 öğretim yılında öğrenim gören 80 öğrenci dahil etmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak Askar ve Akkoyunlu (1993) tarafından Türkçeye çevrilmiş olan Kolb Öğrenme Stili envanteri (OSE) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistik ve Ki-Kare Bağımsızlık Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, beden Eğitimi öğretmen adaylarının daha çok değiştiren ve ayrıştıran öğrenme stilini tercih ettiği saptanmıştır.
