dc.description.abstractIn this study, heat-Treated Aspen (Populus tremula L.) wood was exposed to crojenik treatment, and changes in compression strength parallel to grain (CS) values were determined according to TS 2595. Firstly, heat treatment was applied on Aspen (Populus tremula L.) wood sample for 1 hour and 2 hours at 190°C and 212°C through ThermoWood Method. Then heat treated (HT) and control samples (UT) were exposed to crojenik processing at 145°C for 24 hours. Study results have showed that all cryogenic and heat treated (HTCr) samples had 24% to %54 increases in pressure resistance values compared to the control samples. This result is significant in that it contributes to application of wooden material in different areas.en_US
