dc.description.abstractNanotechnology has received immense attention due to its extraordinary and unexpected results. It has widely found importance in fields like electronics, automotive, healthcare, aerospace, biomedical and have considerable ability for numerous advanced technological industrial applications. Advancement in this technology ensured better, lighter faster and smaller products and systems. Many computational models, various synthesis methods and advanced characterization techniques and theories to elucidate experimental results are being devised by researchers. This chapter introduces the development of various synthesis strategies to functionalization a wide range of nanomaterials. Also the characteristics of various polymer nanocomposites considering some specific applications were worth mentioning. © 2022 American Chemical Societyen_US
