| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışma, Düzce ilinin ekoturizm potansiyelini ve bu potansiyelin kırsal kalkınma üzerindeki etkilerini paydaşların görüşleri ile incelemeyi amaçlamıştır. Araştırmada, Düzce ilinde ekoturizme yönelik paydaşların algıları ve tutumları değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma, nicel ve nitel veri toplama yöntemleri kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiş olup, anket ve görüşmeler yoluyla veri toplanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında, anketler ve görüşmeler yoluyla elde edilen veriler analiz edilerek, ekoturizmin ekonomik, çevresel ve sosyal etkileri ortaya konmuştur. Ayrıca, bölgenin ekoturizm potansiyelinin sürdürülebilir kalkınma için nasıl kullanılabileceği konusunda stratejik öneriler geliştirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, Düzce ilinin doğal ve kültürel zenginliklerinin ekoturizm aracılığıyla etkin bir şekilde değerlendirilmesi halinde, yerel ekonomiye önemli katkılar sağlayabileceğini göstermektedir. Ekoturizmin, yerel halkın gelir seviyesini artırma, istihdam olanakları yaratma ve çevresel bilinci artırma gibi olumlu etkileri olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında toplamda 148 turist ile görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Görüşme yapılan turistlerin %85'i Düzce'nin doğal güzelliklerinden memnun kaldıklarını belirtmiş ve %90'ı başkalarına tavsiye edeceklerini ifade etmektedir. Katılımcıların %70'i doğa yürüyüşü, %30'u fotoğrafçılık ve %20'si kampçılık aktivitelerine katılmaktadır. Çalışmanın sonuçları, Düzce ilindeki ekoturizm faaliyetlerinin sürdürülebilir kalkınma hedefleri doğrultusunda planlanması ve uygulanması gerektiğini vurgulamaktadır. Ayrıca, yerel halkın ekoturizme yönelik olumlu tutumlarının, bu tür faaliyetlerin başarılı bir şekilde yürütülmesi için kritik öneme sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda, ekoturizm potansiyelinin tam anlamıyla değerlendirilebilmesi için yerel yönetimlerin, sivil toplum kuruluşlarının ve özel sektörün iş birliği içinde çalışması gerekmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to comprehensively examine the ecotourism potential of Düzce province and its impacts on rural development with stakeholders' opinions. In the research, the perceptions and attitudes of stakeholders towards ecotourism in Düzce province were evaluated. The study was conducted using quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, with data collected through surveys and interviews. The data obtained through surveys and in-depth interviews were analyzed to reveal the economic, environmental, and social impacts of ecotourism. Furthermore, strategic recommendations were developed on how the ecotourism potential of the region can be harnessed for sustainable development. The findings indicate that if Düzce's natural and cultural richness are effectively utilized through ecotourism, they can make significant contributions to the local economy. It was determined that ecotourism has positive effects such as increasing the income levels of the local population, creating employment opportunities, and raising environmental awareness. In the scope of the research, interviews were conducted with a total of 148 tourists. 85% of the tourists interviewed expressed satisfaction with the natural beauty of Düzce, and 90% stated they would recommend it to others. 70% of the participants engaged in hiking, 30% in photography, and 20% in camping activities.The results of the study emphasize that ecotourism activities in Düzce province should be planned and implemented in accordance with sustainable development goals. Moreover, it was found that the positive attitudes of the local people towards ecotourism are crucial for the successful execution of such activities. In this context, it is essential for local administrations, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector to work collaboratively to fully realize the ecotourism potential. | en_US |
