dc.description.abstractThe recent migration events and the realization of social changes and transformations have increased racism, marginalization and segregation movements, especially against immigrants. With the nationalism that started with the cold war, the West, especially Europe, has seen immigrants as a focus that creates employment problems, changes culture and negatively affects social peace, and especially right-wing parties have used this process as a trump card. As a result of this situation, immigrants have been declared scapegoats in the Western lands where they are trying to live. In this study, Jonas Hassen Khemiri's play I'm I Call My Brothers was examined in this context and the injustices suffered by immigrants, the situations they are exposed to and the conflicts within themselves were examined and the social and individual problems underlying this were investigated.
dc.description.abstractSon dönemlerde yaşanan göç olayları ve buna bağlı olarak sosyal değişim ve dönüşümlerin gerçekleşmesi özellikle göçmenlere karşı ırkçılık, ötekileştirme ve ayrıştırma hareketlerini arttırmıştır. Soğuk savaşla beraber başlayan milliyetçilik ile Avrupa başta olmak üzere Batı, göçmenleri istihdam sorunu yaratan, kültürü değiştiren ve toplum huzurunu olumsuz yönde etkileyen bir odak olarak görmüş ve özellikle sağ partiler bu süreci bir koz olarak kullanmıştır. Bu durumun bir sonucu olarak da göçmenler yaşamaya çalıştıkları Batılı topraklarda günah keçisi ilan edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Jonas Hassen Khemiri’nin Kardeşlerimi Arıyorum adlı oyunu bu bağlamda mercek altına alınmış ve göçmenlerin uğradığı haksızlıklar, maruz kaldıkları durumlar ve kendi içlerindeki çatışmalar incelenmiş, bunun altında yatan toplumsal ve bireysel sorunlar araştırılmıştır.
