dc.description.abstractÇalışmada alata kolotisi geleneği çeşitli yönleriyle konu edilmektedir. Alata kolotisi, Doğu Karadeniz’in özellikle Rize, Artvin, Trabzon ve Giresun bölgelerinde uygulanagelen eski bir “rüyaya yatma” geleneğidir. Evlilik çağına gelen gençler alata kolotisi geleneğini uygulayarak gelecekteki eşlerini rüyalarında görmeyi umarlar. Bugün büyük ölçüde yaşlı kuşağın anılarına karışmış olan bu eski gelenek, halkın kader anlayışıyla yakından ilişkilidir ve kadın merkezli bir uygulama olarak sosyal yapı hakkında önemli ipuçları sunmaktadır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde halk kültüründe rüyanın önemi ve rüyaya yatma olgusu ile evlilik konulu rüyaya yatma uygulamaları hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiş ve Rize’deki uygulamalara dikkat çekilmiştir. İkinci bölümde alata kolotisi geleneği tanımlanarak uygulama örneklerine yer verilmiş, ayrıca alata kolotisinin “ana siftesi, yedi fahtiden odun çalmak, tek nikâhlı olmak” gibi temel motifleri halk kültürünün önemli ögeleri olarak incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın son bölümünde alata kolotisi dinî ve sosyal yönleriyle; bir inanç konusu ve istihare ile birleşen bir gelenek olarak ele alınmış, geleneğin bir sosyalleşme edimi ve kadın merkezli bir uygulama olması hususuna değinilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn the study, the tradition of alata qolothy is discussed in various aspects. The alata qolothy is an old tradition of about "dreaming", which is practiced especially in Rize, Artvin, Trabzon and Giresun regions of the Eastern Black Sea Region. Youngs of marriageable age practice the tradition of alata qolothy, hoping to see their future partner in their dreams. The ancient tradition, which has been forgotten today, is closely related to people's understanding of destiny and offers important clues about the social structure as a woman-centered practice. In the first part of the study, general information about the importance of dreams in folk culture, the phenomenon of dreaming and the practices of dreaming about marriage is given and attention is drawn to the practices in Rize. In the second part, the alata qolothy tradition is defined and its application examples are given, and the basic motifs of the alata qolothy such as ana siftesi (first child), stealing wood from the fence, being single-married" are examined as important elements of folk culture. In the last part of the study, the alata qolothy with its religious and social aspects; It has been handled as a matter of belief and a tradition united with istihare in İslam culture and it has been mentioned that the tradition is an act of socialization and a woman-centered practice.en_US
