Özet
Araştırma, hemodiyaliz tedavisi alan hastalarda sağlık okuryazarlığı ve sıvı kontrol uyumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmış tanımlayıcı bir araştırmadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, evreni bilinen örneklem hesabına göre %5 örneklem hatası ve %5 anlamlılık düzeyinde Eylül 2022- Ağustos 2023 tarihleri arasında İzzet Baysal Devlet Hastanesi Diyaliz Ünitesi, Özel Bolu Nefro Diyaliz Ünitesi, Özel Bolu Öz Diyaliz Ünitesi ve İzzet Baysal Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Diyaliz Ünitesi'nde tedavi gören 144 hasta oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri 'Kişisel ve Tıbbi Özellikler Bilgi Formu', 'Sağlık Okuryazarlığı Ölçeği' ve 'Hemodiyaliz Hastalarında Sıvı Kontrol Ölçeği' kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistiksel metotlar, parametrik karşılaştırma testleri ve korelasyon testleri kullanılmıştır. Hemodiyaliz hastalarında Sıvı Kontrol Ölçeği toplam puanı 50,39±8,63; Sağlık Okuryazarlığı Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 22,65±10,22'dir. Hastaların %54,17'sinin sağlık okuryazarlığının yetersiz olduğu; hastaların sıvı kontrol uyumlarının orta düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, hemodiyaliz hastalarının sıvı kontrol ölçeği toplam puanlarındaki değişimi %20,2'si sağlık okuryazarlığı ölçeği toplam puanlarının açıkladığı belirlenmiştir (R2: 0,202). Bu sonuçlar ışığında hemodiyaliz hastalarının sıvı kontrol uyum ve sağlık okuryazarlık düzeyleri düzenli değerlendirilmesi ve gereksinimleri doğrultusunda eğitimlerin planlanması önerilir.
The research is a descriptive study conducted to examine the relationship between health literacy and fluid control compliance in patients receiving hemodialysis treatment. The sample of the research was collected from İzzet Baysal State Hospital Dialysis Unit, Private Bolu Nephro Dialysis Unit, Private Bolu Öz Dialysis Unit and İzzet Baysal Training and Research Hospital Dialysis Unit between Semtemper 2022 and August 2023, with a sample size of 5 % and a significance level of 5 %, according to the known sample population. There were 144 paients treated in the Unit. The data of the study were collected using the 'Personel and Medical Characteristics Information Form', 'Health Literacy Scale', and 'Fluid Control Scale in Hemodialysis Patients'. Descriptive statistical methods, parametric comparison tests and correlation tests were used to analyze the data. Fluid Control Scale total score in hemodialysis patients was 50,39±8,63; The Health Literacy Scale total score average is 22,65±10,22. 54.17% of the patients had insufficient health literacy; It was determinedthat the patients' fluid control compliance was at a moderate level. Additionally, it was determined that 20.2% of the change in the fluid control scale total scores of hemodialysis patients was explained by the health literacy scale total scores (R2:0,202). In light of these results, it is recommended that hemodialysis patients fluid control compliance and health literacy levels be evaluated regularly and training is planned in line with their needs.
