Özet
Ergonomi, insanın biyolojik özelliklerinin dikkate alınarak insan ile çevrenin uyumunun araştırılması ve geliştirilmesini kapsamaktadır. Ergonomik çalışmaların amacı, yalnızca insanı kazalardan veya hatalardan koruyarak üretimin sürekliliğini sağlamak değildir. Ergonomik uygulamalarda asıl hedef, çalışma ortamlarını insanı mutlu edecek ortamlara dönüştürmektir. Bu çalışmada, Van ilinde faaliyet gösteren 4 ve 5 yıldızlı otel işletmeleri, ergonomi kapsamında değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma ile otel işletmelerindeki ergonomik risklerin tespit edilmesi ve işletmelerdeki ergonomi uygulamaların ne düzeyde önemsendiği ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırma otel çalışanları açısından ergonomik yapının incelenmesini kapsadığından önem arz etmektedir. Araştırmada otel işletmesi yöneticisi eşliğinde gözlem ve yerinde inceleme yöntemi ile veri elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca ziyaret esnasında gözlenemeyecek durumlar dikkate alınarak formdaki durumlar hakkında yöneticilerden bilgi alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda otel işletmelerindeki çalışma alanlarında bulunan malzemelerin genellikle ergonomik açıdan uygun olduğu ancak çeşitli eksiklerin mevcut olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
Ergonomics involves researching and improving the harmony of the human and the environment, taking into account the biological characteristics of human beings. The aim of ergonomic studies is not only to ensure the continuity of production by protecting people from accidents or mistakes. The main goal in ergonomic applications is to transform work environments into environments that make people happy. In this study, 4 and 5 star hotel in Van province were evaluated within the scope of ergonomics. With this research, determination of ergonomic risks in hotel establishments and the importance of ergonomics practices in enterprises have been tried to be revealed. The research is important for the hotel staff as it involves examining the ergonomic structure. In the study, data were obtained by observation and on-site examination under the guidance of hotel manager. In addition, managers were informed about the situations on the form by taking into account the situations that could not be observed during the visit. As a result of the research, it was found that the materials found in the working areas of hotel establishments are generally ergonomically appropriate but there are various deficiencies.
