Özet
Araştırmanın amacı, hemşirelerin merhamet düzeyleri ve hemşirelik bakımında etik tutumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın evrenini, Kasım 2021- Eylül 2022 tarihlerinde Düzce Üniversitesi Sağlık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi'nde çalışan 320 hemşire ile Sakarya Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi'nde çalışan 1072 hemşire oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem seçimi yapılmamış evrenin tamamına ulaşmak hedeflenmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri; sosyo-demografik bilgilerin yer aldığı kişisel bilgi formu, "Merhamet Ölçeği" ve "Hemşirelik Bakımında Etik Tutum Ölçeği" kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Kruskal Wallis Testi, Shapiro-Wilk, Mann Whitney U Testi, Kolmogorov-Smirnov Testi, Dunn Testi, Spearman's rho Korelasyon Katsayısı ve SPSS V23 kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılanların yaş ortalamasının 31,22±6,54, toplam çalışma yılı ortalamasının 8,44±6,87, %81,9'unun kadın, %55,4'ünün bekar, %64,3'ünün lisans mezunu olduğu belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin merhamet puan ortalamaları 4,13±0,34, hemşirelik bakımında etik tutum puan ortalamaları 54,45±14,95 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Araştırmada, hemşirelerin merhamet düzeyleri ile bakımda etik tutum düzeyleri arasında anlamlı negatif yönlü zayıf ilişki bulunmuştur (r=0,283; p<0,05). Merhamet, merhametli bakım, etik ve etik tutum gibi kavramlara hemşirelik eğitiminde yer verilmesi; merhametli bakım uygulamalarına yönelik farkındalık oluşturulması, merhametli bakımı engelleyebilecek faktörlerin belirlenmesi ve bu konuda gerekli önlemlerin alınması önerilmektedir. Anahtar Sözcükler: Etik, Etik tutum, Hemşirelik, Merhamet, Merhametli bakım.
