dc.description.abstractAraştırma iki temel amaçtan oluşmaktadır. İlk olarak, üniversite öğrencilerinin sosyal ve duygusal yalnızlık, mutluluk korkusu ve kişilik özellikleri puanlarının demografik değişkenlere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır. İkinci temel amaç ise üniversite öğrencilerinde sosyal ve duygusal yalnızlık ile mutluluk korkusunu yordamada kişilik özelliklerinin rolünü belirlemektir. Bu çalışma belirtilen amaçlar doğrultusunda, nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nicel araştırma yöntemi desenlerinden korelasyonel (ilişkisel) desen, araştırmanın yöntem boyutunu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında öğrenim görmekte olan 394 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın veri toplama araçlarını; Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Sosyal ve Duygusal Yalnızlık Ölçeği, Mutluluk Korkusu Ölçeği ve HEXACO Kişilik Envanteri Kısa Formu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın analiz aşamasında; Bağımsız Gruplarda t Testi, Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) ve Çoklu Regresyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre; sosyal yalnızlığın cinsiyete, mutluluk korkusunun aile gelir düzeyine, kişilik özelliklerinin ise çocuk doğum sırasına göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık gösterdiği bulunmuştur. Yapılan regresyon analizi sonuçlarına göre, kişilik özelliklerinin sosyal ve duygusal yalnızlık boyutlarını ve mutluluk korkusunu anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bulgular, daha önce yapılmış olan araştırmalar bağlamında tartışılmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Uygulamaya ve gelecek araştırmalara yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study consisted of two main purposes. First, it was aimed to determine whether the social and emotional loneliness, fear of happiness and personality traits scores of university students differ according to demographic variables. The second main aim was to determine the role of personality traits in predicting social and emotional loneliness and fear of happiness. This study was carried out in line with the stated purposes, using the quantitative research method. The correlational design, one of the quantitative research method, constitutes the method section of the research. The sample of the research consists of 394 university students studying in the 2020-2021 academic year. The research data collection measures were; Personal Information Form, Social and Emotional Loneliness Scale, Fear of Happiness Scale and HEXACO Personality Inventory Short Form. Independent Groups t-Test, One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Multiple Regression Analysis were used in the result chapter of the research. According to the findings obtained from the research, there are significant differences between social loneliness and gender, fear of happiness and family income level and personality traits and child birth order. According to the results of the regression analysis, it was determined that personality traits significantly predicted the dimensions of social and emotional loneliness and fear of happiness. The findings were discussed and interpreted in the context of previous research. Suggestions for application and future studies were presented.en_US
