This study examines the impact of multilayer windings on inductive power transfer in a rotating system. The 20-turn windings on the primary and secondary sides are modeled as single, double, and four-layer configurations, with identical air gaps, identical conductor spacings, and identical conductor counts. The configurations were evaluated based on power transfer efficiency under a 96V source voltage and a 100 kHz resonant frequency, using self-inductance and mutual inductance values derived from the models. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.en_US
