Öğe Internet addiction and physical and psychosocial behavior problems among rural secondary school students(Wiley, 2015) Gür, Kamer; Yurt, Seher; Bulduk, Serap; Atagöz, SinemThe aim of this study was to determine secondary school students' levels of Internet addiction and the physical and psychosocial behavior problems they face while using the Internet. This descriptive study was conducted in three state secondary schools in a rural area in the western part of Turkey. This study's sample consisted of 549 students who agreed to participate, with the consent of their families, and who had an Internet connection at home. The data were evaluated using t-tests and variance analyses. In this study the students' score of Internet addiction was at medium level (mean addiction score 44.51 +/- 17.90). There were significant differences between the students' Internet addiction scores and the presence of physical behavior problems (going to bed late, skipping meals, eating meals in front of the computer) and psychosocial behavior problems (suffering from conditions such as restlessness, anger, heart palpitations, or tremors when they could not connect to the Internet, decreased relationships with family and friends, feelings of anger, arguing with parents, and finding life boring and empty without an Internet connection).Öğe Sağlık Davranışı Modelleri(Düzce Üniversitesi, 2015) Bulduk, Serap; Yurt, Seher; Dinçer, Yeliz; Ardıç, ElifThe theoretical methods not only lead the today’s and future’s health perception , but also they will steer our observationaland interfering attemps. When it comes to make a comparison, every model or theory is a kind of different roadmap andthese different maps might describe the same section in varied ways. When we go into a new section, we really need amap. Even a skecthed or false scaled map would be better than none. Maps show related concepts, how they related andmaybe a specific destination between two places. In time there could be different maps for the same section and thesection would become clearer. We can’t talk about a precise and straight map but only a map or theory that responds our necessities most. Thus, whileassessing some varied theories. comparable questions should be asked. However, in terms of comparing and assessingthe mentioned theories, it has been exposed that in the way of estimations, they are not so different as expected. In realmost differences are at the point of emphasising one concept more than another. The purpose of this article regardingthe most common three different behavioral health models about education, health and speculative aspects that havebeen published recently and to form a base for all readers
