Özet
Industrializationhas caused changing of production and consumption habits. The rational solutionproposal coming with technology has brought serial production together witheconomic and speed concepts. The concept of 'trend', which is defined as theconcept of consumption that determines the tendency of consumption of thesociety in the sense of the word, is confronted as science, technology,sociology, economy and many other . Besides, it continues to exist with massculture by influencing fashion, design, current, art, architecture, clothingindustry and furniture. In the context of this study, the trends that emergedas a result of the Bauhaus movement after the industrial revolution werediscussed through design products. Reflections on the furniture designs arediscussed by examining the new discourses which are contrary to themodernism-based Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts trends.
