dc.description.abstractIn this study, a new automatic segmentation algorithm developed for color images has been presented. Initially, threshold selection methods used in image binazition such as Otsu, Kapur and mean algorithms were separately employed for each channel. In next stage, threshold values determined were used to divide color space into eight small cubes or prisms. Each sub cube or prism created in color space was considered as a cluster. Performance of the proposed method was tested with the simulation and the application. It was observed that the results obtained were parallel with human perception.
dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada renkli görüntüleri otomatik olarak ayrıştırmak için geliştirilen yeni bir algoritma sunulmuştur. Birinci aşamada, gri ölçekli görüntüleri ikili kümelemek için kullanılan Otsu, Kapur ve ortalama esaslı eşik seçim yöntemleri her bir kanal için ayrı ayrı uygulamış, sonraki adımda ise belirlenen eşik değerleri ile üç boyutlu renk uzayı toplamda sekiz adet küçük küpler veya prizmalar şeklinde yeniden yapılandırılmıştır. Renk uzayında oluşturulan her bir renk küpü veya prizması bir alt küme olarak tasnif edilmiştir. Yapılan benzetim ve uygulamalarla önerilen yöntemin performansı test edilmiş ve elde edilen sonuçların insan algısına paralel olduğu gözlenmiştir.
